AgroServ is a transdisciplinary project funded by the European Union under the Horizon Europe programme, running until 2027. It supports the research community by funding interdisciplinary agroecology research projects. The supported research will contribute towards sustainable and resilient agri-food systems, exploring topics like plant biology, water, soil, and microorganisms. Euro-BioImaging is a partner in the AgroServ consortium along with 12 other research infrastructures and partners in 23 countries. Nine Euro-BioImaging Nodes offer access to their expertise and services within this project.
First open call
We are pleased to announce that AgroServ has launched the pre-proposal phase of the first Open Call for projects. Selected projects will receive funding for access to integrated research infrastructure services & expertise.
This pre-proposal phase will allow the consortium to demonstrate the application pipeline/workflow and gather expressions of interest from potential users.
Get funding for imaging technologies, services & expertise to enhance your project
We encourage all researchers who would like to harness the power of imaging and image data to boost their agroecology research project to look at AgroServ’s impressive Catalogue of Services. The specific services provided by Euro-BioImaging Nodes are easily identifiable with the Euro-BioImaging logo. But we encourage you to take the time to browse the full range of expertise & services provided by our project partners. This wealth of resources may give you ideas for experiments that require services from multiple research infrastructures and apply for services at more than one research infrastructure, in order to be in the best position to receive funding.
If you have an idea for a plant research project, particularly if it could be enhanced by multiple services available in the AgroServ catalogue, we strongly encourage you to apply for funding in this first Open Call. If you need help in selecting the right combination of services for your research or in navigating the application process, we will be happy to advise and support you. You can contact us at agroservprojects@eurobioimaging.eu.
How the application process works
Access is granted on the basis of scientific excellence through a two-step application procedure to ensure feasibility of the projects and their scientific quality. More information
